Today I’m going to go through some of the smaller details of our day. Some of them you’ve seen, but it gives me a chance to give a shout out to some of our amazing vendors!
Just to throw this out there too, anything that I made myself, I couldn’t have done without the help of my wonderful bridesmaids! Many nights were spent folding, cutting, glueing, and stuffing! Love you girls!! Thank you!
Invitations. I made these myself too! I got the envelopes from a paper store in Brunswick, Ohio called Hollo’s. (Thanks to my Aunt Shelly for taking me there and helping me figure out how to put everything together!) I created the Pittsburgh Skyline wrap using an image I found on Google and my Silhouette Cameo. I made the inserts in Photoshop. Everything was printed at Office Max, though I’m not sure I would recommend that. It was pretty expensive, but I put myself on a time crunch and had limited options.
Programs. Again, created in Photoshop, printed at Office Max
Justin’s Groom’s Cake. I ordered this from our favorite place on Earth, Oakmont Bakery :)
Guest Book. I ordered our tree print from the Etsy shop, PersonalizedPrints. It got here SO fast, which is good because I ordered it less than a week before the wedding! I just wish more people had signed it!
Name Card Hearts. I also made these with my Cameo, then cut the slit and glued to make them 3D. Then we pinned them to a cork board, wrapped in white silky fabric, that I bought at Hobby Lobby.
Jewelry. I ordered the beaded jewelry for my bridesmaids, from a local shop in my hometown called Serendipity Emporium. Lilly does beautiful work, and I was so happy with the result! The girls all loved it too!
Undies. Ordered these from the Etsy shop, Personally Speaking. I was super happy with the quality and speed of delivery :)
The Sand Ceremony. We got this kit at Michaels, and we were so glad to find they had the right colors!
Flowers/Centerpieces. Our florist, James Floral Shoppe in Wilkinsburg, did an absolutely amazing job. I could not have been happier with my bouquet!
Cake. Our cake came from Fenoglietto’s, which is contracted through the LeMont. Given the fact that we never actually met or spoke directly to the baker, he did exactly what we wanted, and it was absolutely perfect!
I think the only recap left is the honeymoon! Coming up soon :)
