What has me reaching for a glass:
* Our Chinchilla, Big Papi, passed away yesterday. We realized something was wrong on Monday night, and had a vet appt scheduled for her, but she was sicker than we thought. I tried to get her to the emergency vet after work, but she died in the car. The worst part is, I wasn’t even very fond of her, but I think because of the timing with everything else, I completely lost it. We’ll miss her, even though she was a mess!
* Justin has been sick with a cold the last few days, and though I didn’t try extremely hard to stay away from him, I thought I had managed to not catch it. Unfortunately, today I’m sniffling and sneezing like crazy. Hopefully I don’t get as bad as he did!
* Our realtor (who we love) is going to Italy for the next three weeks. I hope she doesn’t expect us to put our house hunt on hold while she’s gone!
What I’m loving this week:
* Our new neice, Kaia Patricia! She’s amazing!! Hopefully we’re going to see her tonight!
* Justin and I are both working downtown today for the first time in 2 years! We stopped for a doughnut this morning, rode the bus together, and we’ll be meeting for lunch. It’ll be just like old times!
* On Monday, after dropping off our other neices at the hospital to meet their new baby sister, my brother was randomly in town and we met for lunch! It was nice to catch up with him, his g/f, and her baby boy who I adore.
* I got some of our engagement photos posted on Facebook yesterday, they turned out fabulous! If we’re friends, go check them out! And if not, why not??
