Thank you to Nora for coming up with this awesome weekly feature!
My wine glass is full this week thanks to…
* Getting a $5 parking ticket because I took the bus today and forgot to move my car to the other side of the street.
* Hearing news that my uncle who is battling lung cancer is not doing well at all. Making an emergency trip to Erie to see him before it’s too late…
* People who jump to conclusions when reading Facebook statuses. If you want details, you should talk to me, not my mother.
* Having too many people in my life who need extra love and hugs while dealing with shitty situations. I wish I could make everything better.
Things I love this week…
* Working downtown today and mingling with work friends I never get to see
* Buying a Dirt Devil! I have an unhealthy obsession with vacuuming. Can’t wait to own a Dyson someday!
* Finally organizing the spare bedroom. It’s not done yet, but we made a huge dent last Friday!
* Black and White cookies. I ate one for the first time today. It was fabulous.
Your turn! What’s your Wine/Love for the week?

Oh man, I can’t wait until I can own a nice vacuum. And that is how I know I have officially grown up.
I know!! We want a Dyson so bad, but because they’re so expensive, (and because we have a wedding registry to add it to) we decided to just go with a cheap one for now. Even cheap though, I love it!
So sorry to hear about your uncle. Sending hugs & prayers your way.
Also, black and white cookies? YUM.
My love today is that it’s Friday. And that you played along. And that 16 people joined in on wine & love yesterday! I’m pretty shocked/excited/surprised :)
Thank you Nora, it’s so sad to think about losing him, but even sadder to see him so uncomfortable.
Yes! Delicious!
I love playing along, and you shouldn’t be surprised, it’s an awesome feature!!!
Oh I would love to own a Dyson. Although I doubt I’ll be able to drop that much money when my Swiffer Vac does the job perfectly well on hardwood (and our new house only has carpet on the stairs).
I want one so bad! Right now our entire apartment is carpet (minus kitchen and bath) so it would be very useful to have a good vacuum, but we have no idea what our next place will be like, and if/when we do get a house, I’d much rather have hardwood! We’ll just have to see I guess!
