Start Fresh 2010 – Update

A lot of people seem to think now is a good time to look back on their new year’s resolutions, and see where they stand at this point. I figured since I haven’t written anything of substance in a while, I’d do the same. Afterall, it’s been a pretty huge year so far!

I was going to go through my whole list, but there’s so much I still haven’t done. So instead, and to make this a super positive post, I’m going to annunciate the Wins, and only briefly touch on the fails.

Blogging
attend BloggersInSinCity – I’m registered and have roommates! Now I just have to get a plane ticket!!
redesign the site – Done! Though I think I’d still like to do some tweaking. I need pictures of myself up in here!
possibly make the move to wordpress – Done!
create a lifelist - I started one, but it’s weak sauce. I need to add a lot of stuff to it!

Day-to-Day Living
spend more time with girlfriends – I have weekly date night with Michele!

Get Crafty

learn to use the sewing machine i just got for christmas - I made my step-dad a camera strap, and will be making myself one soon!

Sentimental - These are all a WIN and I feel like a whole new person!!

There is still so much I want to do, but so much of the year left to do it! It seems unbelievable to me, when I consider how much has actually changed in the last three months. I know it’s hard for you guys to see it on here, but those who know me in real life hopefully see how much happier and content I truly am. It’s an indescribable feeling and I hope it sticks, because this life is SO MUCH better than it was a year ago, and I never want to go back to that. I’m so glad I am documenting my journey this year because it’s gonna be one for the books someday, I just know it!
