I never in a million years ever expected the kind of response I received to my last post.
OKAY, OKAY! I’M COMING TO VEGAS!
(pending flight costs of course)
My biggest fear was that I wouldn’t fit in with everyone who already has these seemingly effortless relationships, and that it might be cliquey, and I’d be stranded across the country alone.
Instead I’ve been begged and pleaded with, received the most sincere “I’ve been there” pep talks, and even threatened with puppy kicking (LiLu!) You guys have completely diminished any reason I had for saying no to this experience, and I will never be able to thank you enough!
I know now that I will be seriously kicking myself in the face if I miss out on this. I can’t wait to meet all of you, and hug all of you, and spend four glorious days getting to know everything I possibly can about each and every one of you!
It’s time, after 25 years, for me to step out of my comfort zone and do something for me! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for not allowing me to stay in my hole, wishing for things, but never giving them a chance to come true!
What this group has done for me in the past 48 hours is probably not understandable to most, but if you happen to be someone who knows me, the real me, you know how huge of a deal this is.
So now I have all kinds of questions, like
Who needs a roommate? (Lacey, Katelyn and I need one more!)
What time are people planning to arrive on Thursday?
What time are people planning to leave Sunday?
Is anyone else flying from the Pittsburgh area?
How much money should I actually plan on blowing???
Ah so much to think about! I’m super pumped!!!

Yay! I’m nervous too. We can take the leap together! I’ve been checking flights and hoping I get a big tax return to help with everything. I still need a roommate so if you all still need a fourth…*hi*
I heard you’ll be our roommate! Yay!!!
YAY!!!
YAYAYYYYYYYYY!
Hahaha. A little puppy kicking always gets my way. Too easy!
CAN’T WAIT! Vegas Vegas Vegas!
