About Hey Smalls*

I’m a twenty-something, Pittsburgh transplant, who solves all problems with ice cream and popcorn. In the first three months of 2011, I started a new job, moved into a new apartment, and got engaged to the man of my dreams! As an IT Project Coordinator, I spend my days in a cubicle, wishing I was anywhere else. The rest of my time is spent being a puppy mama, nesting in my new home, and spoiling my (soon-to-be) nieces. Favorite Aunt status, what?

I love all things social media, and would kill to make a career out of it someday. *Wishful thinking* I’m an apple girl through and through, and never leave home without my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, or any combination of the three. I hobby in photography and HTML, but will never consider myself an expert at either. I just like to have fun with it! I do however, plan to take advantage of the “spouse benefits” at Justin’s educational office, and take some free classes to get better at all these things I fiddle with.

I like to try everything, but rarely stick with anything. I’m still searching for my niche and am constantly working toward creating my best life. Some of the things I’m currently dabbling in include yoga, journaling, running, and re-learning photoshop. I also sometimes (hardly ever) try my hand at cooking, though it often ends in a disaster.

I love fireworks, automatic carwashes, vintage electronics, and big porches, but I could do without thunderstorms, cats,  green beans, and a slow Internet connection.
